Kaleidoscope KISS (keep it simple sewing)

Unlock the magic hidden inside a simple jelly roll and turn it into a dazzling kaleidoscope quilt! In this class, you’ll learn how to transform pre-cut strips into mesmerizing spinning blocks that look far more complex than they are. Whether you’re a confident beginner or an experienced quilter looking for a fresh technique, this project delivers big visual impact with approachable methods.

Get a head start before class:  Divide your jelly roll into 2 piles of 20 strips each.  You may do random strips or organize both set from dark/medium/light (like the class sample)

Sew each set of 20 into a strip set and change the direction of sewing each time you add a strip to avoid warping.

Finished size: approx. 57 x57

Jelly Roll
2 yards 108"  or 4 yards backing
1/2 yard binding 

Sewing machine, basic quilting supplies (machine, thread, scissors, etc)
